I’m currently Senior Reporter for NOSH covering natural food products.
My work experience includes food and drink writing, content marketing and social media management. I most recently covered alternative wellness food and drink products for Forbes.com.
Learning to fly
I have a B.A. in journalism from Penn State University, where I worked at The Daily Collegian, Penn State’s award-winning independent newspaper.
While I was training as a reporter, my first assignment was covering a chicken wing contest. I later covered theatre, film, dance and health and worked in page design before becoming the newspaper’s first food reporter.

Check out Central Brooklyn Food Co-op, a 100% member-owned food store helping ensure access to affordable, fresh food for Central Brooklyn’s mostly POC, low- and moderate-income households. Membership is open to all and the store and community center are expected to open in 2020.
I hope to soon become involved in community organizing and food justice initiatives in Boston.
I often take food-fueled journeys to Philadelphia, New Orleans, Chicago, L.A., Las Vegas and my hometown, Pittsburgh. I've eaten in Nashville, Memphis, Tupelo, Jackson, Indianola, San Francisco, Seattle, Honolulu, Juneau and Skagway. In Winter 2017, I spent a month in Lyon, France and Turin, Italy to learn about local gastronomy.
I visit restaurants, cafés, bars, bodegas, breweries, wineries, chocolatiers and grocery stores and talk to people everywhere.
